Founder/Lead Floral Designer

MARY ESTHER MAXWELL

Get to know me!

Hi friend! The story starts long ago with a desire of flowers/nature being planted at an early age. As I reached college, I knew I wanted to study things that grew. I graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a Major is Plant Sciences. My concentration was in Horticulture Production with a minor in Entrepreneurship. This education was a blessing for me to take a seed of passion and turn it into a career to be cultivated.

The past few years, I have worked with many florists, flower farmers, and freelancers that taught me what school couldn’t: experience. Weather cover cropping in a hoop house, striping hundreds of rose thorns, building out floral installations, or cleaning buckets, I am had my hands in many areas of this industry. My goal is to take what I have learned and bring to life a floral atmosphere for you to experience. Each stem is special, just like the person who holds it.

If I am not out foraging or smelling the roses (literally!), I love exploring, eating at new restaurants, being outside, being around my church and community, or on a date with my wonderful husband Kevin (floral assistant when needed!).

Thanks for being here to read about me!

It all started with a Daffodil…

Every since I was a young girl, the country road I grew up on had daffodil bulbs that sprouted the most beautiful, long awaited signs of spring. It was the the breath of new life that more was coming after a long winter. Each year these yellow beauties became a sign of hope, and a reminder that each living thing is seen and cared for. How much more are we cared for dear friend! Even as an adult daffodils still hold the same hope and excited for what is to come!
